Our officers in the town of Nesma were able to seize three trucks heading south of Libya, each truck has fuel tanks hidden under its box, with a capacity of 5,000, 3,000 and 2,500 litres, for the purpose of fuel smuggling.

One of these trucks contains a container, and it was seized in the western part of the Nesma city in the Balaruk Valley, the driver admitted that he does not carry goods in the container but only smuggled diesel fuel in the Umm Al-Arnab area and that he sells it.

The other two trucks were confiscated near the Tennai area.

Legal action was taken and the arrested individuals were referred to the Crown for disposal, and the trucks were seized pending the matter.
