Our rescue teams immediately deployed and successfully brought the vessel and its occupants to shore.

Of the 31 Syrian nationals rescued, 25 are in stable condition, while four are currently receiving intensive medical care. Tragically, despite rescue efforts, two individuals did not survive.

The vessel was subsequently destroyed as it was determined to be abandoned property, based on statements from the rescued individuals who indicated they had purchased it for their journey.
