Our team of experts and investigators with one of the arrested made it possible to infer the burial place of the bodies of people, who were murdered by the so-called “Al-Kani” gangs.
In collaboration with the 444 Brigade and the General Identification Authority, their faces were behind the search to generate investigative leads, until the burial place of the bodies was found behind Suq Al-Khamis prosecutor building, south of the capital, Tripoli, about 53 km away – both bodies were handcuffed and exhumed black veil.
Al-Kani gangs was comprised of six brothers and their loyalists. They at one point controlled Tarhuna, terrorising the people and cracking down on dissenting voice.
Measures have been taken to get justice done.
