The SSA’s Investigations and Evidence Collection Department successfully apprehended a Libyan citizen who was part of a transnational criminal organisation engaged in drug trafficking and distribution.

The suspect was detained during a coordinated operation along Airport Road. At the time of arrest, authorities seized multiple controlled substances, including 4,700 MDMA (Ecstasy) tablets, 2,500 Rivotril tablets, 21 packaged units of cocaine, 5 small packets of cocaine, and a quantity of MDMA powder.

The case, including all seized materials and evidence, has been transferred to the relevant prosecutorial authority for further legal proceedings.
