A member of the Apparatus investigated the trucks making daily trips from Bani Walid to Al-Shwerif, and when they were stopped and interrogated, the truck drivers admitted smuggling diesel fuel on a daily basis. They fill up at gas stations in Bani Walid at 30 pence per piaster and sell it for one dinar to fuel smugglers in Al-Shwerf.

We took the necessary legal steps and referred the suspects to the Public Prosecution.
