In accordance with the tasks entrusted to our apparatus in the fight against trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, our members have been able to capture a gang formation that deals in hallucinogenic pills.

The gang of four residents of Tripoli was seized in possession of 66 Subutex tablets for an estimated price of over 52 thousand Libyan dinars.

Although Subutex is indicated for the treatment of opioid dependence it still poses risks of hazardous and harmful use which can lead to overdose and death if used outside of medical supervision.

The necessary legal measures have been taken and the suspects have been sent back to the prosecution for decision.
